Supply Design was awarded £30,000 at the regional final of the Shell Springboard 2012 competition for our high efficiency power conversion technology. Based on our novel 3 phase power factor correction circuit and aimed at diverse markets including renewable energy, data centres and electric vehicles, our converter saves between 50-60% of conversion losses compared to the leading competition.

Announced at an event at Our Dynamic Earth on 7 February 2012, Supply Design was one of eight Regional Finalists and three Regional Winners. The other two winners, Gas Sensing Solutions Ltd and Celtic Renewables Ltd, will progress to the national finals in London next month. We wish them well.
